This Privacy Policy describes how Pyrolights MNL, operating the EventOps platform ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our marketplace and booking platform ("Platform"). We are committed to complying with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide the service — display your listing, connect you with organizers or suppliers, process bookings.
- Review & moderation — evaluate listings for approval, enforce marketplace rules.
- Communication — send booking confirmations, status updates, and important platform notices.
- Improve the Platform — analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, develop new features.
- Legal compliance — comply with Philippine law, respond to legal requests.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Sharing
We only share your data in these limited cases:
- Public listing information — business name, category, description, price range, areas served, contact details, and photos are displayed publicly on the marketplace. This is the core purpose of your listing.
- Service providers — we use third-party services for hosting (Microsoft Azure), authentication (Google), and email (Brevo). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
- Legal obligations — we may disclose information if required by Philippine law, court order, or government regulation.
4. Data Storage & Security
- Data is stored on Microsoft Azure servers with encryption at rest and in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
- Photos are stored as encrypted binary data in our database.
- Authentication uses industry-standard JWT tokens and Google OAuth 2.0.
- We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.
5. Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active.
- If you delete your listing, your listing data and photos are permanently removed.
- Booking records may be retained for up to 5 years for business, tax, and legal purposes.
- Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.
6. Your Rights (Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012)
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- Be informed — know what data we collect and how we use it (this policy).
- Access — request a copy of your personal data.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure / Blocking — request deletion or blocking of your data.
- Object — object to the processing of your data.
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- File a complaint — lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

7. Cookies & Tracking
- We use essential cookies/localStorage for authentication (login session) and user preferences.
- We may use analytics tools (such as Meta Pixel) to understand how visitors use the Platform. These are subject to the respective providers' privacy policies.
- You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work properly.
8. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover that a minor has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
